Copyright Policy
Last updated: March 25, 2026
KnolMe respects intellectual property rights. This policy explains how to submit copyright complaints and takedown requests regarding content hosted through the Service. It is intended to provide a practical reporting process and does not limit any rights or remedies you may have under applicable law.
1. Scope
This policy applies to copyright complaints about content made available through KnolMe profiles, imported materials, uploaded files, generated pages, and other public content hosted through the Service.
2. What to Include in a Notice
Please include enough information for us to identify the work and evaluate your request, including:
- Your full legal name and contact information.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The specific KnolMe URL or other location of the allegedly infringing material.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. Where to Send Notices
Send copyright or takedown notices to legal@worldstatelabs.com with the subject line "Copyright Notice." If you are submitting a notice under a specific law, please identify that law and include any information it requires.
4. Appeals and Responses
If you believe content was removed, disabled, or restricted by mistake or misidentification, you may send a response that includes:
- Your name, address, email address, and signature.
- Identification of the material removed and its former location.
- A statement explaining why you believe the removal or restriction was a mistake, misidentification, or otherwise unauthorized.
- Any supporting information, documentation, or statements required by applicable law.
5. Repeat Infringers
We may suspend or terminate accounts of repeat infringers when appropriate and at our discretion.
